Levens Playing Fields - new MUGA facilities in photos

A recent update from the Levens Playing Fields Facebook page shared some exciting news:

“A big chunk of the work on the MUGA is complete, and it’s currently open for use. Hurrah!
Levens’ brand-new Pickleball court should be up and running in a few weeks, and we’ll be organising some ‘Intro to Pickleball’ sessions to get you started.

The committee has agreed that the courts should be a no wheels zone—so no bikes, scooters, or skateboards—to keep things safe for everyone playing. Signs will be going up soon to make this clear.”

Already completed:

  • A new netball post

  • Pickleball net installation

  • Temporary line markings

  • A giant solar stopwatch

  • Completion of the access ramp

🌿 Still to come, in the Spring:

  • A fresh coat of paint (mostly green)

  • New benches

  • A table football setup

  • A sharing shed with sports equipment

With these upgrades, the playing fields are set to be better than ever. And with fewer muddy trainers, we’re sure parents will be just as happy as the players! 😊
