Bike Repair Station Installed at Levens Village Shop
Good news for cyclists – Levens Village Shop now has a Bike Repair Station, providing a handy spot for quick fixes and adjustments while out on a ride. Whether it’s a loose chain, a wobbly wheel, or just a bit of general fettling, the station is stocked with useful tools to help keep bikes in good shape. Even better, it’s under cover, so there’s no need to battle the elements while making repairs.
Alongside this, the bike rack has returned, now in a safer spot away from cars and pedestrians. If the rack is full, bikes can be leaned against the shop wall – just not the window (local glaziers will appreciate it). The timber bollards provide a secure resting place for those stopping off for a coffee or snack.

A big thank you goes to the Morecambe Bay Partnership, which provided the repair station and bike rack as part of its Love Morecambe Bay campaign. The initiative is helping to improve facilities across the area for both residents and visitors alike.
The repair station is ready to use, making Levens Village Shop an even better stop-off point for cyclists. So next time the bike needs a quick tweak, there’s a spot to sort it – and maybe an excuse for a well-earned cake break too!
