This new emergency support service has been launched this week by Cumbria County Council, ourselves and other partners across the county in response to the Coronavirus lockdown. It provides a vital link between people at risk who have no wider support network, and those who are ready and able to help them through this difficult time.

The service has been set up by Cumbria County Council and partners as a result of close partnership working with District Councils, CVS, Cumbria Community Foundation, community and voluntary sector, and the private sector.
