Drawing on the visual wonder of beetles – one of the most varied and beautiful species on the planet, the workshop will encourage participants to explore the range of shapes and colours of this fascinating species.
Dawn will demonstrate some of her collage techniques to create super decorative wall hung objects which celebrate these living jewels. This half day workshop is suitable for beginners.
Dawn Hurton is a full-time artist living in the North Pennines. She makes 3D objects, automata and story boxes about the human and natural landscape surrounding her home in Cumbria.
